Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of RizinOS, a web-based operating system operated by RizinOS (hereinafter "Provider"). By registering an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service. Use of the service requires a minimum age of 16 years.
2. Description of Service
RizinOS provides a web-based operating system environment accessible through a web browser. The service includes file management, application execution, and other features linked to your user account. The Provider reserves the right to expand, restrict, or modify individual features at any time. There is no entitlement to the availability of specific features. The Provider strives for maximum availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
3. User Account
Creating a user account is required to access most features. You are obligated to provide truthful and complete information during registration and keep it up to date. Access credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. In the event of suspected unauthorized access, you are obligated to notify the Provider immediately. One account per person is permitted; multiple accounts may be suspended without prior notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You may only use the service for lawful purposes. The following actions are prohibited: uploading, distributing, or storing unlawful content; attempting to gain unauthorized access to the systems or data of other users; overloading the infrastructure through automated requests or attacks; using the service to distribute malware, spam, or phishing content; circumventing access controls or security measures; and any use that violates applicable German or European law. In the event of violations, the Provider reserves the right to suspend the account without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights in the platform, source code, design, and content of RizinOS created by the Provider remain with the Provider. Use of the service does not grant a license to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works. Content you upload or create yourself remains your property. However, you grant the Provider a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process such content for the purpose of providing the service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind. The Provider does not warrant uninterrupted availability, freedom from error, or security of the service. Data loss cannot be fully excluded. It is recommended to maintain your own backups of important data.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Provider is fully liable for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health caused by intentional or negligent breach of duty, as well as for other damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty. For damages caused by slight negligence, the Provider is only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations); in this case, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Further liability is excluded.
8. Termination and Account Suspension
You may terminate your account at any time without giving reasons. The Provider is entitled to suspend or delete accounts without notice in the event of serious or repeated violations of these Terms of Service. In the event of account deletion, personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and statutory retention periods.
9. Changes to These Terms
The Provider reserves the right to change these Terms of Service with 30 days' notice. Registered users will be notified of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after the notice period expires constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms, the competent court at the Provider's place of business shall have jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer is habitually resident remain unaffected.
